this car new and have driven it carefully with respect over the years. Every service has been done at the appropriate mileage at a Ford dealer and stamped in the service history. The gold colour does not show up dirt easily as is metallic paint. Comes with 11 months for the MOT and 11 months road tax. Has just had a full service in August 2010. New Mitchelin Energy tyres on the car, only a couple of months old. Has remote control, air con, fully alarmed, etc. Body work is excellent, no signs of rust at all and has been waxed regularly and hand washed. The only paint work mark is on the end of the wing mirrors but this can be touched up. New Ford branded car mats inside. Lovely sized boot perfect for suitcases for holidays or camping gear. been our family vehicle for 5 years and has been a reliable car / sleepmobile for that time, it`s size and flexibility has made it a great all rounder. It has most of the paperwork that shows all the work done since we have had it. It has only 6 seats which gives a large boot space for a variety of purposes. It has Cd player, electric front windows. It is the standard 2.5 diesel engine with no turbo. As with all ford vehicles of this age, the body has started to wear out long before the engine. The front arches have been been cleaned down, filled and resprayed, the bottom half of the sliding door and rear arches have been replaced This vehicle was due it`s MOT but during it`s pre MOT service it was found the corrosion underneath was larger than expected and would take longer to do than planned, we needed a new vehicle quickly as we were competeing in France. Everything else on pre MOT inspection was OK. The only other bad bit is the bonnet, which you can see in the photo. Some local youth kindly sprayed it with paint remover. The estimated cost of the weld is £450-500, and we have checked with three different independant garages to confirm this figure. She is sold as seen, she is an ideal car for a larger family and a bargain if you have a car mechanic in the family and welds. vehicle ( TAXI ) but is in good order inside and out apart from a couple of seat`s that have been damaged at the back of the seat, a rear compartament cover lid missing, a cutout in the middle of the dash ( where the meter was mounted ), and a couple of dent`s in the n/s/r door, ( see photo`s ). the second owner of the car and since owning it ive had the clutch done,back bearing,new break pads at the rear and anti roll bushes at the rear,new coil pack and a new bosch battery ive also upgraded the alloys to 18 inch rs alloys all though 1 tyre will need replacing very soon.The bad bits are engine management light stays on but there nothing wrong (common fault) and air condition is not working but i think its just the fuse also the stereo packed in so i upgraded to a sony cd player with usb which i will be taking out as ive just recently bought it but you can pick the cd player up on ebay for around 35/40 pounds.bodywork is in generally good condition apart from a tiny trolley ding on door and a few scrapes and the person who had it before me had tried to touch some parts up but used a slightly different shade.but theres nothing that stands out too much.If you have any questions at all please do not hessitate to contact me.viewing is welcome.cash on collection only.many thanks STEREO CAN BE LEFT IN FOR EXTRA 100 POUNDS. an elderly man, It has done 58000 miles and is in excellent condition inside and out. It has been well looked after with service history to prove it even comes with original ford manuals etc. The mot runs out in april 2011 and has just tax run out last month.
