Welcome to the sale of my Mk2 Cortina. Bought 18 months ago and put back on the road last January, it endured a complete overhaul. Bodywork taken care of and a complete respray. As-well the engine had an overhaul while it was out, stripped checked and rebuilt. Drives very well for an old timer. As you can see from the pictures I have added a GT grill and spots, also a top dash pod which I am sad to say didn't bother to wire up. All the wires are there to wire it. Garaged and 90% driven dry. List of some parts fitted During restoration were:- Starter Motor new Brake & Cylinders new Front Calipers new Front Brake Discs & Pads new Alternator new Minilite Alloy Wheels new Avon Tyres x 4 new Grill Door O/s Rear Dash Top Chrome door trims Plastic Headlight Bowls new Headlining new Door Seals exterior new Inner door rubbers (Genuine type from Australia) new Front and Rear screen rubbers new Screen Chrome inserts new Front seats (Nissan) Klaxon horn new 7" Headlamps new HID Headlight conversion (you can see in the dark with these headlights) LED rear light bulbs Spark Plugs, Leads, Cap, Arm, Oil Filter, Fuel Filter, Points new Battery new Starter Solenoid new Brake hoses x 3 new Rear Wheel Spacers new Metric Wheel Studs and Chrome nuts new Chrome Rocker cover new Gasket set new K & N air filter Strut Brace Recon inner track ends left & right. Tracking set Electric wiper washer conversion new Paint, materials, blood and sweat etc. I'm sure there are plenty of other bits fitted and not listed. Spent close to £3500 on the rebuild & well over 250 hours Car comes with a box of spares and 4 chrome rostyles, these are not in a good state so its up to you if want them . 409 miles covered since the restore. Small scratch on drivers side rear wing top (about an inch) not down to the metal. Wouldn't notice it unless pointed out.
