Bought this car down in Wales and travelled down to see her blind,was told she was solid throughout and a great runner,i wasn`t disappointed, cruised home no problems and she`s never missed a beat since,passed every M.O.T first time i`ve put her in. Fully Polybushed throughout,she has some other subtle upgrades,5 speed Type9 Gearbox( Great for Cruising and Economy),Engine runs on unleaded,upgraded Vented Discs with Twin Piston Calipers(Servo Assisted),BMW Angel Eye style Headlights( Brighter and Wicked at night),Cd/Radio,Rear Hi-Level Brake Light,Three Rear Seat Belts,Seats are from a Scorpio, Mountney Steering Wheel,Engine Compression Gauge,Ford Focus RS Alloys which are included in the sale but you can exchange them for the more period ones in the last photo(YOUR CHOICE) The interior is nice and headlining doesn`t sag,exterior paint has some micro blisters on front wings on the top and at lower rear passenger valance,they are in no way bad but want to mention them as pics always make a car look perfect,at 40yrs old she `s not but she is lovely,chrome is good but again not 100%,she polish`s up great and always turns heads. Probably missed loads but thats what questions are for and please ask them,it costs £96 to insure for a year and that`s for 6000mls ,i have an Agreed valuation of £4000 and really that needs changed as i set that 4yrs ago when i bought her and should be more now,i will keep her insured so anyone buying with FullyComp Insurance can drive her home,also being Tax Exempt that saves you £240 a year :-). released from storage of a large motor museum, this is the forth car from the collection, now offered as an affordable project for one lucky new owner to put back on the road. Four bucket seats, aluminium door cards, GT dash and clocks and excellent alloys and tyres. The car is running and driving, starts first time with an impressive engine note when the throttle is blipped, last on the road in 2010 its been sat in the storage yard of the musuem and has suffered a little round the edges. I`ve had the car down the road and across town to the MOT station, it drives and stops as it should and goes rather quickly if you over do the right foot !!! Its all there, runs, starts, stops, just needs bringing back in a few areas. To save me a million "What does it need for a test?" questions, I`ve run the car through an MOT and the results are fairly good. You can see the printed fail ticket on the picture links, but whats needed for a ticket is :- new cills both sides, top of front wings / inner wings repaired, hole on off side main chassis leg, hole off side chassis leg right at the front under the wing (All these welding areas are pictured on the picture link above) It needs seatbelts fitting, the harnesses have been removed, no belts or harnesses supplied. It needs the steering box packing / refurbing to take out play. Brake pipe needs securing, kinked brake pipe replacing, handbrake adjusting and rough bodywork sorting. A good bit of welding and bodywork required, the whole underside needs a good clean off and treating, it looks very shabby with being stood outside. All the foot brakes passed the test, as did the emissions, all the lights, horn, washers, wipers work. This car is a very easy project and well worth saving. Make it your lifes work to bring it to show standard, do whats needed and enjoy it or even a mad track day car, you decide. POINTS TO NOTE MOT test are undertaken by individual testers and the points listed are what the tester found on the day as the car was presented, another tester may have passed some items and failed others, all testers vary slightly. The car looks better in the pics than real life, it will need complete paint to win a show. Sold as spares or repairs for parts, no warranty of any kind.
