The car is in excellent condition and drives like a dream. It is immaculate inside and out and also has has a full service history. The car has done 105000miles but been well maintained, I`ve just had a service done on the car. The turbo was replaced in august 2010 and 4 months ago I had a new DPF (diesel particulate filter) fitted by ford at the cost of £800 and I have the receipts to prove this. I dont have receipt for turbo but it was done. The car is great to drive and very cheap to run. Road tax is £100 for the year and the fuel consumption is great. The car now has 18" alloy wheels on it. The car also comes with a sony cd mp3 player that I bought separate at the cost of over £200. The car has 10 months mot and just been taxed for 6 months. It has been 100% reliable, I have covered over 1500 miles since it was MOT`d three weeks ago. It is cheap as it has done quite a few miles and needs a little tlc, but is ready for use and i would trust it on the longest of journey. The MOT expires on the 22nd April 2013 and is taxed to the end of the month (May). GOOD BITS. 1.6 tdci engine (low tax, high mpg) Electric windows. Remote central locking (1 key). Air conditioning (ice cold). Power steering. Factory CD player with remote near steering wheel. Good tyres. Cheap tax, £55 for 6 months or £100 for a year. Full MOT with no advisories. Main dealer service history to about 100k. Just had service (oil and filter change). Hpi clear. Bookpack. BAD BITS. A few stone chips. Small dent under rear light (see pic). Plastic trim on tailgate has crack (see pic). Rear wiper not working. The starter motor was not engaging fully sometimes and you would have to turn the key off and then start it again. This has not been a problem over the last 1500 miles and i consider the car to be 100% reliable. 2 days ago i had a new starter motor fitted which i hoped would solve the problem, but the mechanic tells me that there is some damage to the teeth on the flywheel from the old starter motor (not a lot, the teeth are still there just worn a bit). Since the new starter was fitted i have used the car on lots of stop start journeys and started it over 30 times and the motor has failed to engage only once. In the mechanics view it is not worth fitting a new flywheel as it could last for years as it is, but i have priced a secondhand flywheel locally for £150 so its not the end of the world if it needs doing at some point. Please don`t let this put you off, it is the cheapest available, you could go and pay £1500 more for the same car and find it needs major work in a few months time. Buying a used car is a bit of a lottery, but at least you know what you are getting with my car. This car is so cheap to run with upto 70.8 mpg on a run and i have averaged around 60mpg over the last 1000 miles. The bodywork is very very clean considering the miles covered, there are a few stone chips but i have seen much worse on lower mileage newer cars. The interior is in excellent condition with no rips or wear on any of the seats. The engine sounds good and pulls well with no smoke. All gears select easily, the clutch works perfectly. There are no leaks and uses no oil or water. This car really does drive like new. I am still using it daily so the miles will increase. Once again, it has covered a lot of miles with me in a short space of time and has NEVER let me down but it is sold as spares or repair due to the bad bits mentioned above.
