the car starts and drives fine without problems and returns 38 mpg if you take it easy. there are odd marks on the car as it is used and as the heading says it has minor damage to the front i still use it myself day to day been quoted £300 to repair it as it only requires a headlight and an airbox and the grey vent on the front i was quoted this before i bought an original ford panther black wing see my feedback so it should be cheaper now . it drives in a straight line but the tracking on the passanger side is out slightly and is now showing on the outside of the tyre . all the front panels are in line nothing is out of the ordinary but there is a little bit of pressure on the top of the front plastic panel hence the bonnet sits 10 mm high but was assured by the guy at the body shop that it was the crumpled wing making this happen and i did agree with him as i used to be a stripper and fitter in a body shop many years ago . the bumper would need a bonding glue and a prep n spray all pity straight forward . may be intrested in a small van belingo or similler as im a roofer . come take a look this car is ultra reliable will take you round the world if need be as ive maintained it regardless. contact me on 07912 371 276 paul . unsure of mot but its long sorry i never washed it before photos its a good car so i wont be messed about price wise but would be interested in small van . in a heated garage). I have owned the car since 2009 and it has been fantastic! I am reluctantly selling due to the impending purchase of a house. Tax and MOT until August 2012 It is standard, the only slight modifications are the front mud flaps and splitter that I have added. Mechanically standard with the only change being a K&N panel filter. Brembo drilled front discs and Ferodo DS2500 pads – in very good condition. Tyres all round are very good, with Michelin Pilot Sport 2s on the rear and recent Pilot Sport 3s on the front. RS leather document wallet and RS mats + the set of focus mats currently in the car. Bodywork is good with only very small marks due to age. The front bumper has a few stone chips as is quite common with these cars. Interior is excellent, steering wheel and drivers’ seat are good, with only very minimal signs of wear. Subtle Pioneer head unit (original Ford unit included) I have maintained this car with no expense spared always run on super unleaded – generally V-Power. It has a full service history with a recent major service at Demon Performance Centre in Crewe (Focus RS Specialist). This service (Aug 2011) included: Belts changed Sparkplugs New water pump New power steering pump New coolant hoses New rear pads Bushes replaced on the rear suspension All in all a very tidy example of a standard Mk1 Focus RS maintained regardless of cost. of diesel. It is also lower on insurance and tax than most other cars in it`s class. This has been used as commuting car, doing 20 miles a day, but has also seen me well on some very long runs too, including a drive to the Belgian Grand Prix and back.The car has had a major service in January 2012 and passed it`s MOT last month too. It only needed a wheel bearing changed, which has been done and the car is running even better than ever now. It is taxed until the 31st March this year. The cam belt was changed just before I bought it, so won`t need changing again for a very long time.Now the few bad points. The central locking isn`t working at the moment as it needs a fuse changing. This should be a simple thing for a mechanic to do and pretty cheaply too. The cigarette lighter also doesn`t work, again, it just needs the fuse changing, but as I don`t smoke it`s never been an issue. There is also a small dent on the front wing, drivers side. This is only cosmetic and barely noticeable.The mileage is just under 110,000, and the engine has a lot of smooth running years ahead of it. I am sad to see this car go, as it`s proved very cost effective and I`ve never had to worry about it not working. This means that the conventional 3-seater rear seat can be converted into a 2 separate rear seats that provide greater legroom and shoulder room. The rear seats are also foldable and completely removable. The car can be either a mini-limo or a van!I bought this car a year ago from a dealer. It had one previous owner and has 7 service stamps in the handbook. It has been well maintained and is in outstanding condition. 71,000 miles is very low mileage, and in the last year I have done 12,000 totally reliable motorway miles in it.I chose this model because of the creature comforts, but also because of the proven reliability and economy of the 1.8 duratec engine. Using the cruise control on the motorway, my 60 mile daily commute usually results in an average of 36-39mpg. This is not far off Diesel economy, without the threat of big bills that the more complex diesel engines (filters, turbos and dual mass flywheels) can create at this kind of mileage. That`s why I chose the more simple petrol engine, and I didn`t regret it!As shown in the last photo, the car was fitted with brand new Dunlop all-season tyres just two months ago to replace the cheap budget tyres that were on the car. This change of tyres cost £400, but it has reduced road noise, improved wet weather grip, and given the car amazing ability in the snow as well! car has full service history, with all major work already being carried out. All filters have been changed,oil, fuel,air and pollen,aswellas oil and cambelt, just had a new washer pump fitted. All plugs have been out cleaned and checked aswell as leads and coil pack, which are all fine, I had the car put on a diagnostic machine in early Jan 12, and it reported no faults.The car is standard and in very nice condition for its age. The interior is extremely tidy, I am the 3rd owner of the car and the previous owner brought it from a main dealer 29/03/05 as the car had previously been a main dealer demo car. I have a full service wallet including all reciepts for work done and the sale of the car from main dealer to previous owner. The exterior is in good conditon and only suffers from a few marks age related scuffs and scratches. As you can see from the pictures there is a small paint chip on the bonnet, a scuff on the front N/S wing, a scuff on the rear plastic bumper and a small dent which can be pulled out on the boot lid. The car has only done 2000 miles since MOT dated 15/06/11. I have all previous MOT`s and the original wallet with all books and service books present. The last service was at 56884 miles and I have loads of old bills for the car. Spare wheel looks unused, and all wheels are in excellent condition. The car benefits from Air con, ABS, Alloy wheels, PAS, height and reach adjustable steering column, drivers height adjustable seat, 3 cup holders, ford 6000 rds radio cd head unit. steering column controls for radio. ford in castleford the other 2 at precious metal performance in knottingley, full ford owners pack & 1 key. I have had this car for just short of 3years & its been a really good, luxury, reliable & quick car. Unfortunatly Its now time to let it go has I have just treated myself to a impreza wr1 so cant afford to keep them both as well as needing room on the drive. The car as been well maintaind & looked after while in my ownership & benifits from only just having a service at 47500miles in october where it got new drilled/grooved disc`s & pads all round as well as goodridge hoses.
