7 years). It has a full service and MOT history and has been well maintained. The V5C document is in his name and there are 2 former keepers before him (he is the 3rd recorded keeper). The MOT expires on 14th June and the tax runs out at the end of the month. He is selling it because he has just bought a newer car from me.The car has covered 81,444 miles but is working very well indeed. The engine starts very easily and is smooth and quiet. The clutch and gearbox are excellent and the suspension is working as it should. The exhaust system is intact and the two tyres on the back have very little wear. The tyres on the front will probably need changing in 2,000 miles or so.The bodywork is in good condition overall, but there is some blistering of the paintwork next to the filler cap (which appears to be a common problem on KAs at this age). This can be seen in one of the pictures. The interior is clean and tidy with no undue wear or tear. The car drives very well indeed and has lovely secure handling. 2002 Ford KA, I happened to notice that there were 2,438 other KAs currently for sale on eBay Motors. Now, that`s quite a wealth of choice by anyone`s standards - so why should you be interested in this one in particular? Well, there`s a few reasons. It has had just two female owners since new, the most recent having enjoyed it since way back in August 2007, and it has covered just a touch over 67k miles in total. As such, it is still in very good condition. The rare combination of the metallic red bodywork and the accented red interior is quite eye-catching, particularly when it`s as clean as this (see photos). There are a few tiny ding-dents and - as the vast majority of those 2,438 other ones will have too - some bubbling around the rear wiper arm. But, the area around this KA`s petrol flap (another extremely common point for corrosion) looks absolutely fine.Plus, having the optional power assisted steering system makes it a far easier car to live with; parking this KA in even the tightest spot is a cinch! It comes fresh from the MOT test and we`ve given it a full service as well to make sure it still drives as well as it looks. We have replaced a few worn parts, including a steering rack end and two rear shock absorbers - it has also fairly recently been treated to an exhaust section at the back and both tyres on the rear are almost new. To top it all off, it even comes taxed right through until the end of September so is all ready to collect today and drive away without having to sort a single thing out! Which should all help this KA stand out in the crowd.
