at the moment is 50381 and comes with Full service history and was only last serviced in February 2011. The tax and MOT both expire at the end of January 2011. The car is also HPI clear and you are more than welcome to carry out any inspections. The car drives faultlessly and pulls well through the gears with no smoke under load. The clutch and gearbox are also very smooth. The bodywork on the car is very clean and shines very nice when cleaned and with this being the orange ST2 it stands out from the crowd. The interior is also very clean and tidy with no rips or tears to the Recaro seats. 2007 FORD FOCUS ST-2 BLUE ONLY 33k miles

The time has come to sell my beloved ST due me needing the money for a mortgage deposit. When i bought the car in Febuary 2010 it only had 7,000 miles...>

on the clock and was owned by a guy who worked in the Ford garage i got it from, Ive now taken the car up to 33k miles with full Ford service history. She has the Bombproof Volvo 2.5 engine and it sounds amazing, alot better than its hot hatch 4 pot rivals. I have always let the car warm up (oil and water) before taking it above 3000 rpm. This model is the later 2007(07) which has the upgraded Sony sound system (earlier cars dont have this) and white dials on the dash. Some other features are Heated front and rear screens( great on the frosty mornings) Full recaro cloth interior Xenon headlights 5 seats rather than 4 in the ST-3 The car has always been washed once a week and waxed once a month, Ive clayed the car twice a year to remove all the impurities it picks up too. Ive just had 4 brand new Vredestien ultrac tyres fitted costing £500(Great tyres, read the reviews on them) and also a full 4 wheel alignment costing £80 (full print out available). The car has had 4 services 2 by the previous owner and 2 by me- 2840 miles @Hendy Ford, 7055 miles @Hendy Ford, 17800 miles @ Hendy Ford and 28849 miles @Tarnock Ford (TGST- Focus ST specialists). The MOT is due next month however if i get near the asking price i will MOT it. I have also fitted Ford approved Eibach springs which have lowered the car by around 25mm all around and greatly improved the handeling, In my opinion the ST sits far too high for a hot hatch, It just looks alot better now. This is the only modification carried out on this car. Bad bits There is a small scratch behind the passenger door about 15cm`s long which is hardly noticable 2 of the alloys could do with a refibishment. there is a few small stone chips on the front bumper These are small issues that you would expect from a used car, they are hardly noticable but i want to be completely honest so there are no suprises when viewing it. No outstanding finance, not been stolen or written off. No test pilots or tyres kickers. the protection formula added to it by Ford, any spills or marks just wipe straight off! The exterior is also fantastic, there are a few minor marks on the front from stones e.t.c but nothing to note and in my opinion considerably less than any other cars I have seen in this age group! The alloys are excellent, only one has a minor mark on it and the other 3 are in perfect condition. The only mark is on the bootlid, it is a pimple dent that could not be picked up on a photo and is only visible once pointed out. When it was in for service I asked the dealer to take a look and provide a quote, however they were unable to find the mark. This shows how small it is and the level of detail I`m trying to go into when describing this car. Car history - I bought this car from Ford when it was nearly a year old and had 4000 on the clock. I have all the documentation from when I bought it and every receipt since. It has had all of the required services and in addition to his I had the oil changed in between the service intervals. This was done at Ford and was done as I initially intended to keep the car for many years and wanted it to last! There is a huge amount of paperwork that the car comes with and will verify the condition and history without question. Specification - The car has all of the usual ST specification including PAS, ABS, traction control, all electrics, keyless entry and start, voice control, radio/cd, auxiliary power supply in arm rest, auxiliary input The only reason I`m selling the car is that I now travel big miles for work and need to purchase a diesel to keep running costs down! I`m very reluctant as I love this car but need to sell it. Any inspection is welcome as I know you won`t find any issues or problems and will be happy with the car. The price is only £10800 due to me needing a quick sale, I will only transfer ownership once the funds are cleared into my bank account and may remove the advert as it is advertised elsewhere. The interior is also in excellent condition and it is unlikely you will find better. The wheels are in very good condition with the exception of one which has a minor mark around the centre of the spokes, this is just on the surface and hardly notices. Please note: Although the engine has only covered 47,000 miles it has developed a noise which I can only describe as a distant road drill which gets louder when under load. I suspect running it whilst low on oil has caused this problem. Unless your are an experienced mechanic, a replacement engine will probably be the best option as these are available second hand including fitting for around £900. This car would be worth around £3,800 with a good engine. Useful information: Brand new MOT and rear brake pads. Service history 150BHP 2L Duratec 0-62 MPH in 7.9 seconds Top speed 129MPH With the exception of the engine this car is probably one of the best 2005 ST’s you will find and well worth the effort to sort the engine. 2005 FORD FIESTA ST SILVER CAT D

it for her. That said I had the car professionally repaired and have enjoyed driving it since September but the fun has to stop! In repairing the car I have fitted mainly new parts including a new front bumper which was over £500.00 alone. I did skimp however on a second hand bonnet which was originally the same colour of the car so has not been re-sprayed so if you look very closely to the wings it is very slightly a different shade. Also all plastic front parts have not been replaced but everything fits very neat but if you are a perfectionist then they would need replacing. It also has a scuff to the rear bumper which can be seen on the photos. I have just fitted new front windscreen wipers and have bought a new Ford and ST badge for the boot but have not had chance to fit. The car is metallic silver with half leather black and red sports seats. I had it serviced in September and the car comes with the service booklet and two keys. The car is in excellent condition and was first registered on the 26th January 2005. It is taxed until the end August 2012 and the MOT runs out on June 16th 2012. The car has only covered 41,000 miles and is in excellent condition. Viewing is highly recommended and any inspection is welcome, please call me on 07813 882447 to arrange viewing. Which means that apart from the somewhat esoteric, not to mention sold-out, Ford GT supercar, the car you’re looking at is the meanest machine you will be able to buy with a blue oval on its nose for some time. But don’t fret, and don’t make the mistake of associating this car, the all-new £17,495 Focus ST, with its rather lukewarm predecessor of the same name. Last time out, the Focus Sports Technology (ST) was little more than a lightly bespoilered version of a cooking 2.0-litre Focus. This time there are five cylinders, one turbocharger, 222bhp and 150mph. More raw performance than even the previous-generation RS could muster. Question is, does the ST go deep enough and deliver sufficient thrills to eradicate the need for an RS model altogether, while at the same time providing the refinement which the old RS was so sorely lacking? That is what we’re here to find out. Although the Focus ST is not as committed a piece of engineering as the old RS was, no one could accuse Ford of selling out this time round. The one thing the ST lacks compared with the RS is the one thing that split opinion more than anything else, and that’s a limited-slip differential. The trade off? The ST has less mechanical traction but much better manners over a bumpy road than its predecessor. Apart from this, the ST – on paper – goes further than the RS in most directions. And with good reason! A bright blue addition has been made to the long-term fleet, and I've been given the keys. The newcomer is Ford's Focus ST - one of the year's most exciting models, and the winner of the Best Hot Hatch award in our New Car Honours 2006. It has claimed plenty of other plaudits with Auto Express already, including a road test victory against both the Volkswagen Golf GTI and Vauxhall Astra VXR in Issue 882. But will spending the next 12 months with EK06 OHF do anything to wipe that smile off my face? Of course only time will tell... although, on the evidence of the past few weeks I'd be surprised. Modern cars are often described as lacking in character, but the ST has bags of the stuff - and you can thank the 222bhp 2.5-litre turbocharged five-cylinder engine for that. Put your foot down and a real, hard-edged rumble enters the cabin, which sounds similar to the Audi Quattro rally cars I remember watching in the Eighties. Now that I've covered 2,500 miles and the engine is fully run-in, it's difficult to resist exploiting the noise to the full. But a word of warning to any potential buyers - do this and you'll feel the pinch. Hard driving sees fuel economy drop to about 22mpg, while the overall average returns of 27.1mpg fall behind our Golf GTI's 30.4mpg. Aside from its insatiable thirst, the ST is great in pretty much every other way. The steering is full of feedback, there's plenty of front-end grip and the Recaro seats are absolutely superb, supporting my 6ft 3in frame better than any other car I've ever driven. Nevertheless, it's a shame they couldn't have been mounted a little lower for a truly sporty driving position. Unlike many fast Fords of the past, the Focus isn't too extreme to look at. There are subtle side skirts as well as spoilers at the front and rear (although I reckon the VW Golf GTI still wins in terms of image). And the basic practicality of the five-door body helps make carrying passengers and their luggage an easy task. I've already had to get a tyre repaired after I ran over a stray nail, and the only other points that might take the smile off my face are the notchy six-speed gearbox - this should improve with some extra miles - and the more direct steering rack and lack of lock makes parking tricky. Second opinion I took the fast Ford for a trip to Cornwall. Covering some 700 miles, I got economy up to a reasonable 28.7mpg. My fuel bill was still quite high, but the long, winding roads simply flew by. Despite the number of Focuses I passed along the way, the ST felt special as I spotted only one other example on the road. And it happened to have the same Performance Blue paint as our long-termer! They pack a punch, are good to drive and look suitably aggressive – but the primary purpose of these cars is to add a bit of glamour to the range. However, this isn’t the case for SEAT. Take the last-generation Leon. The biggest seller wasn’t a diesel or a base petrol variant, but the performance FR – it accounted for 40 per cent of models registered. Even though SEAT is positioned on the sporty wing of the VW Group, this is still surprising, and shows the importance the Spanish firm attaches to performance variants of its cars. As before, there are two racy versions of the second-generation Leon: this 197bhp FR and, from January, a 238bhp Cupra. Typically for SEAT, a great-value price adds to the appeal, and the FR undercuts many rivals. But in this test, the five-door Leon faces our favourite hot hatch: the Ford Focus ST. Pricier, but more powerful and with proven pedigree, it’s the new hot SEAT’s toughest possible rival. It keeps the practicality of the rest of the Focus range and is keenly priced. Against It is a thirsty car - bank on 20mpg if you use the performance. It's not as sharp or as classy as the Golf GTI and has a poor turning circle. These three- and five-door hatchbacks are the core of the range, however. The sheer number of used Focuses out there means that resale values aren’t strong, but the flipside is that you can get a big discount on the list price. Entry-level models are a little short on power and kit, so we’d recommend moving up to Zetec trim, because you then shouldn't have to add any optional extras. Of the wide range of engines, the 1.6 TDCI diesel is our pick. It’s flexible and refined, yet provides incredible fuel economy and emits very little CO2. The dearer diesel and petrol models push the price uncomfortably high, while the hot ST model sounds great, but its five-cylinder engine is thirsty and it’s not as much fun as it should be.
